What a fabulous way to kick off the Mardi Gras Festival. We will be ensconced in our temporary chapel of ease, on the lawn. Come up and say hello. We don’t bite, unless asked nicely and you may even become a recipient of a much sought after personal blessing or indulgence.

If you plan on viewing the parade, come early, grab your spot and enjoy the foreplay entertainmentuntil
the parade starts at 7:45pm and proceeds along Liverpool, Oxford and Flinders StreetsDarlinghurst/Surry Hills.
Remember! This is the largest night time parade in the world, so public transport is the
way to go.

The Colonial Era
Hyde Park Barracks
An intriguing, entertaining, accurate and extensive visitation with the Sisters revisitingthe era of the colonial sodomite!
Start with coffee with the members of the Order, bring your waking shoes, an openmind and your sense of humour!
Assemble at 9:45 am for a 10:00 am start, outside the Hyde Park Barracks Cnr Macqurire and Prince Albert Road Sydney

Zoo
Walk - Taronga Zoo Thursday
4th March
Start the day with a relaxing ferry ride on beautiful Sydney Harbour and then spend the day exploring the delights of our native flora and fauna, especially our keepers, as the Sisters of the Sydney House of the Order of Perpetual Indulgence take you on an informative and sometimes slightly twisted wander through the beautiful grounds of Taronga Zoo. This is a fully-escorted tour, including a meet and greet with some of our local denizens, the Wet and Wild Seal Show, the amazing Flying Free Bird Show and an opportunity to explore a vocation with the Sisters at lunch! Not to mention our yummy keepers.
Wear sensible shoes, bring
water, sunscreen and of course a sense of humour! The Zoo Walk will go ahead rain hail or shine.
Meet
at pier 2 Circular Quay at 08:15am to catch the 08:45am ferry to Taronga Zoo. or Meet
inside the top (Main) entrance at the Zoo a bit before 9:30am.
Cost will
be ferry fare, Zoo entrance, and food (About
$60-$70 all up). A combined ferry/zoo pass is the way to go. Purchase these on the day, at the Ferry Terminal.
