On the 24th January, the Sisters attended a memorial in the Inner West for a young member of our community. Invited by their friends and loved ones, we were honoured to offer a blessing. Out of respect for privacy, we won’t share further details, but it was a deeply beautiful gathering. The Sisters felt privileged to be present and hope we offered some comfort on the day. We send many blessings to the departed, and to all their friends and loved ones.
This was also a special moment for the Order, marking the first public manifestation in habit for two of our recent novices. Pastor Al Dente appeared in her stunning handmade monk habit, while Sister Verandah Gobbie was proudly robed in one of Sister Rowena Keeper of the Holy Doyley's many wonderful creations.
Also in attendance were Sister Ophelia Ring, with the event led by Sister Beefcake Tenderloins.
