Always a highlight of the calendar during the Mardi Gras festival each year is the Sister's hosted tour of Sydney's Taronga Zoo.
Each year a group of the gathered faithful join the Sydney Sister for a visitation with feathered, furred and finned friends at the zoo.
The gathered faithful are sorted into smaller walking groups, each hosted by a sister and lead by one of the zoo's friendly keepers or volunteers.
