Once again the Sisters were invited to take part in the protocol of the flag raising at Taylor Square. This began with a bit of foreplay which saw the flag carried from Whitlam Square up to Taylor Square giving the gathered faithful the opportunity to interact with the Sisters and to have an up close look at the flag.
This year the Sisters wanted to share this honour with a group of unsung heroes of the Mardi Gras season and so invited members of the Mardi Gras Medical Team to join them in carrying the flag.
